Hope For Kai
Dear Kidsf Space supporters,

This is a real life story about our neighbor Kai. Kai and his family live in the same neighborhood in which KidsfSpace is located. Kai has been diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia. Leukemia cells, which occur in the bone marrow, crowd out the good blood cells that allow the body to fight infection, clot bleeding and carry oxygen to the cells throughout the body. Kai needs a successful bone marrow transplant in order to survive.

Bone marrow drives in honor of Kai are taking place.
The test to find a match is very simple; swabbing the inside of the cheek. Donating marrow is usually like giving blood. Those tested become part of a national registry, so even if a match is not found for Kai, another life could be saved.

You may be the one who can save Kai. Please get tested for possible donorship. You can help him by going to a bone marrow donor drive, or ordering a Self-Test Kit, or make a donation.
With your help and generosity, Kai can survive.
